The most spiritual of all Savoy cheeses. Created in the Middle Ages by the monks of the Abbey of Abondance, its recipe has remained unchanged ever since. Our Abondance comes from a cooperative of small family farms located in the Chablais region, where the diverse flora of the Pre-Alpine meadows and high-altitude pastures gives the milk its rich aromatic qualities — beautifully reflected in the cheese. Its delicate hazelnut flavor and smooth, melt-in-the-mouth texture are simply divine.
